Terms of Service

HealthcareTransactionLawyers.com is a service intended to provide information about healthcare transaction lawyers, such as a healthcare acquisition attorney, including their names, locations and areas of focus. Your use of the service (including any content or services linked to this Website) is subject to these Terms of Service (TOS).

The TOS may be modified at any time without notice. You are responsible for reviewing  the most current TOS on the website.

1. TOS Acceptance

Use of the service serves as acceptance of the TOS, including any modifications. By using the service, you acknowledge and agree that you’ve fully read and agree to be bound by the provisions of the TOS. If you do not agree, then you must stop using the site.

Using the Website in the course of your employment means that you enter this agreement on both your own behalf and on that of the organization you represent.

2. Service Description

The Website provides users with information about legal services and lawyers involved in healthcare transactions. You also understand and agree that the service may include advertisements and that these advertisements are necessary for HealthcareTransactionLawyers.com to provide its service.

You also understand and agree that there are certain communications from HealthCareTransactionLawyers.com, such as service announcements and administrative messages, that are considered part of using  the Website, and you cannot opt out of these messages.

Unless stated otherwise, any new features introduced to the Website are also subject to the TOS.

We have the right, but not the obligation to take any of the following actions at our sole discretion at any time and for any reason without giving you prior notice:

a)      Restrict, suspend or terminate your access to the Website’s service

b)      Change, suspend or discontinue all or any part of the service

c)       Refuse, move or remove any material you submit for any reason

d)      Refuse, move or remove any content available

e)      Deactive or delete you account and all related information in your account

f)       Establish general practices and limits concerning use of the Website

3. Registration Obligations

As a contributor to the site, you represent that you are a healthcare transacations lawyer. You agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself for your personal profile and to maintain and promptly update the profile to keep it in that state. If you provide information that violates this policy or the Website provider has grounds to suspect that the information does not match the standards described, the provider has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse  any and all current or future use of the service.

4. Member Account Password and Security

You will develop a password and account after completing the registration process as a way to maintain your profile. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and take full responsibility for everything that is done by your account. You agree to immediately notify the Website of any unauthorized use of your password or account and ensure you exit your account at the end of each session. The Website provider is not liable for any loss or damage that arises from your failure to comply with this section.

5. Member conduct

You understand that all information transmitted is the sole responsibility of the person who created that content. This means you are entirely responsible for all content you transmit via the service. The provider does not control the content posted and therefore doesn’t guarantee the accuracy or quality of it. The provider is not liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to errors or omissions in any content.

You acknowledge that while the Website provider may or may not pre-screen content, it has the right to do so and address any content that violates the TOS. You acknowledge that you must evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of any content.

You acknowledge and agree that the Website provider may access, save and disclose your account information and content if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access is reasonable necessary to either comply with legal process, enforce the TOS, respond to claims that the content violates the rights of third-parties, respond to your request for customer service, or to protect the rights and safety of the Website provider, its users and the public.

You understand that the technical transmission of the Website, including your content, may be transmitted over multiple networks and involve changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting devices and networks.

6. General information

The TOS constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Website provider and governs your use of the service. The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the TOS does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

You also agree that your account is non-transferable and any rights to your account or content terminate upon your death.

You agree that any claim or cause of action arising from or related to use of the Website or the TOS must be filed within one year after the claim.
