Mrs. Robles de la Lama has over ten (10+) years of experience as in-house counsel. She is currently General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Gastro Health, PL.
Mrs. Robles de la Lama is Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). This national accreditation reflects a professional level of competence and experience in compliance processes sufficient to assist healthcare business organizations to understand and address legal obligations and promote organizational governance and integrity through the operation of effective compliance programs. She is also a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager (LHRM) by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) denoting a level of experience in managing hospital and facility enterprise risk management issues.
Mrs. Robles de la Lama has experience in training employees and boards on privacy/security, fraud and other healthcare and risk management topics. She has extensive background in regulatory, compliance and policy issues in the health care and life sciences industries, including pharmacies (retail, mail and specialty), pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturers, pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies, device manufacturers, durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers, hospitals, and healthcare clinics.
Mrs. Robles de la Lama received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University and her Masters in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago. She has published articles on Medicare and Pharmaceutical fraud, waste and abuse, as well as, participated in the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyers division of the Health Law section, as Chair of the committee (2006-2007).
She enjoys community service and is involved in a variety of organizations. Mrs. Robles de la Lama is fluent in both English and Spanish.
