David Lips is the author of Healthcare Capital Finance: In Good and Challenging Times (American Health Lawyers Association: 2009). He has also written chapters in the Health Law Practice Guide, 2d (West: 2008), the Federal Securities Laws of Municipal Bonds Deskbook (5th ed.) (National Association of Bond Lawyers: 2013), and SEC Compliance Best Practices (Thomson Reuters Westlaw: 2014 forthcoming). David received his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Duke University. He is licensed to practice in Connecticut, Indiana and Kansas. His legal practice focuses on health care transactions, tax-exempt bonds, securities and federal corporate income tax. David’s past professional experience includes auditing, tax accounting and serving on the board of directors of a capital investment company. He has written for a variety of publications on legal issues.
